Rescue Me ID: 14-10-13-00628Daisy June (female)
Daisy is a sweet and playful girl who was abandoned by her owner who had her since she was a pup, for 6 years. Her owner moved out of a rental trailer and left Daisy. Due to a flea infestation in the trailer, I suspected she hadn't been vetted. I gave her a flea bath and spot-on flea meds, got her vaccines and HW test, which read positive. She has completed her first round of doxycycline/Heartgard. I can't afford to keep Daisy or her friend, Roscoe (a neutered male Boxer/Rottie mix). My husband and I are retired and living on a fixed income, and have 2 other rescue dogs. We just want to find this bonded pair a good home, but will separate them if absolutely necessary. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-24-00485Gabby (female)
Gabby and Buddy became victims of circumstances. The parents went through a divorce. Rather than placing the dogs at the county shelter where they most likely would have been euthanized (due to age and size), the owner surrendered the girls to my possession with the hopes of placing them in a loving home. The girls are wonderful, well behaved, and funny. Gabby was called a slug. She doesn't hunt slugs, she is just sloooow. Gabby is the younger of the 2 girls and can pull a mockingbird out of the air..........if she has the ambition....lol. Buddy on the other hand is tennis ball obsessive. She will fetch if you want to play or throw the ball herself. She's a hoot! The girls are healthy (no internal parasites) heartworm negative, current on shots and spayed. If there is room in your home and your heart for these 2 big girls (#60+), please call for an apptmt at 803-627-3049 or e-mail at email@example.com (Less)

Animal ID: 14-07-14-00285Rupert (male)
Rupert is a 4-year-old former stray yearning to be a family dog. This Vizsla mix is a little reserved in strange environments, but once he gets to know you, is very friendly. He has the pep to be a good playmate for kids or hiking/jogging companion for adults, but is overall calm and well behaved. Rupert's adoption fee is $125. If you're looking for a dog with a lot of love and loyalty to give, download our application at www.savethestrays.org and apply today! Questions? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Vizsla Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Vizsla is an elegantly proportioned hunting dog. Vizslas are affectionate family companions and are wonderful with active children. Vizsla usually get along well with other dogs and can be socialized to get along with cats, but have an instinct to hunt smaller animals such as gerbils or rabbits. Vizslas may become nervous if not thoroughly socialized and given plenty of exercise and attention. Vizslas need a good sized yard.
