Vizsla Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Flora is a sweet girl that was malnourished and probably used as a puppy producer before rescue. She was an exceptional mom too. No longer though, she is ready for someone to love her for her and in return get a very devoted best friend. She is loved so much by her foster mom that she created her own Facebook page. There is a lot of good information there with pictures of her pups and adopters. You can see that at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1934127873484202/

What a handsome fellow Galaxy is at 6 months. What is he looking for in a home? A very active home to keep him busy. I do not recommend small children due to him having high energy and is learning manners here at the rescue, which will need to continue in his adopted home. He was found as a stray in Marion county and we were given the opportunity to start training and helping him find a fitting family. He is very smart and wants to please! He is also microchipped Facebook: Woods Creek Pit Bull Rescue..for current pictures and videos of this handsome boy Application: ... Rescue Me ID: 17-03-07-00262Halle (female)

Vizsla Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Halle is a sweet but mouth 6 month old, Boxer mix. She up for adoption BUT has some extra requirements! Please read the whole post before asking for an application. Halle's ideal adoptive family: will have another energetic dog who likes to play rough, but who is also well-balanced and not reactive to other dogs. Probably a working or hunting breed is going to be a good fit. If the family does have kids, they should be at least 8 years old and dog- savvy. Halle likes to cuddle on the couch and sleep on the bed. Adults in the home need to be calm but firm. Halle is currently fed 4 times a day, and that will likely need to continue for some ... (Read More)time, so adults need to be flexible and home often. She will need ongoing training and socialization. Halle's family needs to be okay with going slow with her, and understand that right now she can't go many places, and may never be a pup that can go everywhere with her people. She's pretty good in the car. She's getting better at meeting new people. She's still figuring out if the leash is her friend, but does pretty well on walks with her foster brother. We got Halle from a local shelter when she was 5 months old, she was owner surrendered at 4 months old for biting her owner. She's a wonderful girl but doesn't need a dog savvy family. If your ready and want to put in the time and effort to have an amazing pup please email us and ask for an application puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Vizsla in Oregon
Vizsla Dogs can make good pets in Oregon if they match your IifestyIe. The Vizsla is an elegantly proportioned hunting dog. Vizslas are affectionate family companions and are wonderful with active children. Vizsla usually get along well with other dogs and can be socialized to get along with cats, but have an instinct to hunt smaller animals such as gerbils or rabbits. Vizslas may become nervous if not thoroughly socialized and given plenty of exercise and attention. Vizslas need a good sized yard.
