Halle is a sweet but mouth 6 month old, Boxer mix. She up for adoption BUT has some extra requirements! Please read the whole post before asking for an application. Halle's ideal adoptive family: will have another energetic dog who likes to play rough, but who is also well-balanced and not reactive to other dogs. Probably a working or hunting breed is going to be a good fit. If the family does have kids, they should be at least 8 years old and dog- savvy. Halle likes to cuddle on the couch and sleep on the bed. Adults in the home need to be calm but firm. Halle is currently fed 4 times a day, and that will likely need to continue for some time, so adults need to be flexible and home often. She will need ongoing training and socialization. Halle's family needs to be okay with going slow with her, and understand that right now she can't go many places, and may never be a pup that can go everywhere with her people. She's pretty good in the car. She's getting better at meeting new people. She's still figuring out if the leash is her friend, but does pretty well on walks with her foster brother. We got Halle from a local shelter when she was 5 months old, she was owner surrendered at 4 months old for biting her owner. She's a wonderful girl but doesn't need a dog savvy family. If your ready and want to put in the time and effort to have an amazing pup please email us and ask for an application firstname.lastname@example.org (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 16-09-28-00408Daisy (female)|
Hi my name is Daisy, Im 6 years old, very loving and affectionate to humans, and good with cats, but I can get aggressive with other dogs when I feel threatened, this has made it hard for me to find a good forever home. Ideally I would like to be your one and only dog, or live with a younger male like I have in the past. I would love a big back yard to play in, or a fenced piece of property where I can be free and off of a leash. My favorite things include chewing bones, sun bathing, and getting my head scratched by people who love me. Please help me find a good forever home.

Vizsla Dogs can make good pets in Oregon if they match your IifestyIe. The Vizsla is an elegantly proportioned hunting dog. Vizslas are affectionate family companions and are wonderful with active children. Vizsla usually get along well with other dogs and can be socialized to get along with cats, but have an instinct to hunt smaller animals such as gerbils or rabbits. Vizslas may become nervous if not thoroughly socialized and given plenty of exercise and attention. Vizslas need a good sized yard.
