Vizsla Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Alli is searching for her a new family! Alli was found in a cave in Guam when she was just a baby. She was adopted by a man who raised her well and gave her all the medical attention and love she needed. Years past and he decided he couldn't care for her anymore and gave her to a friend to bring back to the U.S.(mainland) Alli has been in the U.S. for three years and needs to find yet another home. Her current guardian is hoping Alli will find a family who can provide a more stable life for her. We want this to be Alli's FOREVER home. Alli is great with other dogs and cats but will chase bunnies, squirrels & birds! She loves to play and ... (Read More)plays gently with small dogs. Alli loves going for car rides and does well in the car. She is quite the traveler and has lived in Guam, Michigan, Nevada, the U.K. & now Colorado! Alli is very smart and knows the following words: car, truck, ride, treat, dinner & clean the floor. Alli knows hand signaled commands for sit, lay down, up and alternating shakes. Alli walks well on harness & leash, she does not do well with a collar. She loves to have her butt scratched and LOVES to give kisses. Alli is great with kids & babies and would love to have a family! She is totally housetrained, too! Alli loves going on long walks, hiking and playing in the yard. As most Vizsla's do, she loves to be with her people. Alli tends to bond with men faster than women. We think this is because she was raised by a man. Alli is the total package! If you're interested in adopting her please email us at sunshinecanyondr@gmail.com. Thanks! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Vizsla in Colorado
Vizsla Dogs can make good pets in Colorado if they match your IifestyIe. The Vizsla is an elegantly proportioned hunting dog. Vizslas are affectionate family companions and are wonderful with active children. Vizsla usually get along well with other dogs and can be socialized to get along with cats, but have an instinct to hunt smaller animals such as gerbils or rabbits. Vizslas may become nervous if not thoroughly socialized and given plenty of exercise and attention. Vizslas need a good sized yard.
